Is Morning Water the Next Biggest Skincare Trend?

As the skincare industry evolves, so do new beauty trends and crazes. For example, in recent years, many influencers and professional makeup artists helped boost the popularity of micellar water, a gentle product formulated to refresh the skin while eliminating dirt, makeup, sunscreen, and debris. As a result, it has become a staple in skincare routines, particularly as a “first” cleanse in a double-cleanse routine.

Now, vegan and cruelty-free skincare brand Coastal Citizen is getting a head start on the next potential skincare craze with its proprietary Morning Water ($28, shop here).

Morning Water has many similarities to micellar water. For starters, they are both no-rinse solutions that remove impurities from the skin, ideal for people who don’t like or have the time to wash their face in the morning. They are both great products to use as an afternoon pick-me-up to rejuvenate the skin or help prep the skin for sunscreen reapplication.

The fragrance-free Morning Water is designed to protect the skin from environmental aggressors, leaving it radiant, calm, and balanced. It’s also formulated with skin-loving ingredients like oat milk, chamomile essential water, basil essential water, betaine, and niacinamide to keep your complexion moisturized and help combat impurities. You can apply Morning Water with your hands or a cotton round.

Coastal Citizen was co-founded by YouTube star Eva Gutowski, who has shifted her focus from lifestyle vlogger to beauty executive offering innovative skincare products at a reasonable price point. Coastal Citizen doesn’t have a full range of products just yet, but its Morning Water is already changing the skincare game.

Will you be adding Morning Water into your skincare routine? Do you think this will be the next biggest trend in skincare?
