How To Look Stylish On A Budget

A stylish outfit that is budget-friendly is hard to come by, especially with prices continuing to escalate. Still, it almost seems impossible to find something to wear that won’t break the bank.

With the right attitude and these tips, you can strut around town looking like you walked out of a movie poster instead of walking out of a TJ Maxx.

  1. The Little Black Dress

The little black dress is iconic in every aspect, and the beauty of it all is that you can find one for a reasonable price no matter where you shop. We love this look on Cara Delevingne. The best part is that you can find a cute and stylish little black dress without breaking the budget.

We kept it simple with an equally edgy black dress that even has pockets; you can’t get any better than that. We also paired this dress with a faux leather jacket and some spiked sandals that will put the extra edge on your outfit.

  1. The Perfect Pair Of Jeans

When it comes to finding the perfect pair of jeans, it can feel a little like how Cinderella was the only person in the village to fit into the glass slipper, and you’re not Cinderella. Jeans are a tricky subject for a lot of people because, let’s face it, finding a pair of jeans that are comfortable, stretchy, and make your butt look fabulous all while staying on a budget is practically impossible.

Well, today is your lucky day because we found a great pair of light wash jeans just in time for those early summer evenings. We paired these babies with a plain white T, super adorbs handbag, and some squeaky clean tennies.

Pretty much everyone has at least one button-down shirt for interviews and semi-formal business meetings. And if you don’t, you can always go for the boyfriend shirt vibe. Why not take it off that dusty hanger and turn it into a fashion statement for cheap? You can pair your button-down with practically anything. From cute high-waisted shorts to even a pair of sweats, this shirt can be used for just about anything.

We love this button-down tucked into a pair of super trendy shorts, with casual black sandals and a simple clutch.

  1. A Staple Accessory

Speaking of a simple clutch, the accessories you choose can make or break the outfit, whether it be a hat or a cute purse. Even if you can’t afford an expensive Michael Kors purse, you can still get a super cute one on a budget. There are always off-branded bags that look similar to your favorite expensive ones.

We absolutely love this blue tote bag, and for $12, there’s really no better deal. It’s just in time for summer, too, making it an absolute must-have for those trips to the beach. We paired this staple accessory with some other key accessories, like sunnies and a hat. All you need is to get your bathing suit and flip-flops, and you’re ready to go.

  1. Check For Clearances At Your Favorite Store

Wherever you prefer to shop, whether it be Target or Nordstrom, they all have a clearance section with discounted items. We always recommend checking out the clearance because sometimes you will find that diamond in the rough. This item is from Anthropologie; initially, it was $78, but they have it on clearance for just below $50. Now that’s what we call a deal.

Being stylish is all about confidence; it doesn’t mean you have to wear the newest, most expensive brands. It’s all about your state of mind when you wake up in the morning and pick out your outfit. No matter your budget, these tips will help you save money and leave you looking fashionable while you conquer your day.
