Bold Fruit Prints for Summertime

We love a big, bold print any time of the year, but something about this summer has us crazy over loud fruit prints. Here, we’ve rounded up a few of our favorite fruit-printed pieces – along with some styling advice, of course.

Farm Rio Fruit Forest Maxi Dress ($225, shop here)

This fruit-print maxi dress is perfect for any season. It fits slim through the bodice and sleeves, then relaxes at the skirt to create a gorgeous silhouette. Complete the look with pointed-toe slip-ons, post earrings in your favorite color, and a neutral clutch. If you aren’t already sold on this dress, Farm Rio promises to plant a tree for every order.

NewChic Abstract Fruit Pattern Print Shirt ($25.99, shop here)

We adore this whimsical, illustrated, watercolor print shirt for summertime – just give those sleeves a couple of cuffs, then knot the shirt right above the waistline. There are a million ways to style this, but we recommend pairing it with a flowy denim midi skirt, some vintage sunnies, a woven bag, and your comfiest sandals.

Eva Franco Tiered Midi Skirt ($158, shop here)

Excuse us for getting emotional over a skirt, but this strawberry print is the sweetest thing we’ve ever seen. We love the idea of pairing this skirt with a sleeveless collared chambray or white top, rope sandals, and a precious pair of post earrings.

Back When Fruit Medley Sweatshirt ($88, shop here)

We may have lost some of you at “sweatshirt,” but this top is actually made with a thin, relaxed knit. So while we don’t recommend it for your next hike, it does make a great shirt for the movies or the office – you know, places that are notoriously freezing! French-tuck it into a button-front mini skirt, then put on your best platform sandals.

WeWoreWhat Ronnie Dress ($195; shop here)

We love the ’90s-style cut and fit of this dress. And the fruit print? *Chef’s kiss.* To style this dress for a night out, pair it with some Dr. Martens and an oversized, light-wash, destructed denim jacket, and a mini purse.

The J. Peterman Company Lemon Print Dress ($274, shop here)

A good lemon print is a classic, in our opinion. We could go on about how much we love the dress, but, frankly, the company describes it the best: “I’d wager that it’s quite impossible to have a bad time in this dress… If nothing else, you’re well-equipped if you like to animate your stories with dramatic gestures. If nothing else, your audience will be utterly charmed by how the slightest breeze can set your dress aflutter. (Butterflies, take note.) Not to mention, you’ll look sensational flying down the Col de la Croix-Morand in your Daimler SP250…” Style this dress with a nude pointed-toe flat, some classic gold hoops, and vintage sunglasses.
