Vida Group is reviving BCBGeneration shoes with a Spring collection that focuses on comfort and fashion forward style. The new launch just hit stores in January and the new Spring product will be available in March. New York-based footwear firm Vida plans to continue its relaunch of the iconic shoe brand with a fall line highlighting key silhouettes such as the classic bootie and slouch boot.

“The BCBGeneration customer appreciates value added to her shoes, so the collections make sure to have something special added on every style, whether it’s a chain detail or an architectural heel,” said Vida’s BCBGeneration Design Director Lindsay Sigmund. Luxurious leathers imported from countries such as Italy and Brazil will be a signature of the new BCBGeneration line.

Comfort is built in with new technology

These latest designs incorporate new technology that cushions every step in the BCBGGeneration heels. Fans who have tried these shoes say they are impressed with the improved overall fit. New details such as flexible soles and memory foam add up to greater comfort and longer wear in even the highest heels.

Some pumps now feature an inside platform that reduces the pitch of the heel. The addition gives the wearer noticeably more comfort without sacrificing height.

The design director introduced Kristen S. to the new BCBGGeneration shoes when our Rethink Beautiful publisher recently visited the Vida showroom. Sigmund showed off the Fall collection’s slouch boot, which features a very wearable 3-inch heel available in a variety of colors. A combination of black, ivory and camel are classic wardrobe essentials, and introducing a natural snake or red pop makes any look stand out.

Other fall styles include combat boots with low, mid and high heels; dress pumps and sandals with chain and metal accents; and the classic Stein bootie.

Kristen took a closer look at the Bullit, a fall style that Vida expects will be in high demand on store shelves starting in July. The black shoe with black stripe that Kristen chose is embellished with a ball chain welt. She sampled the Cebina, a studded, suede Western bootie with cone heel that is available at Dillard’s as well as Macy’s and Lord & Taylor.

Vida builds strong footwear divisions from well-known apparel names and takes pride in honoring the essence of the brands it licenses. The company’s current portfolio of licenses includes brands known for trend-setting, innovation and superior quality.

BCBGeneration was originally debuted in 2008 as a younger contemporary line of fashion brand BCBGMAXAZRIA by legendary founder Max Azria.
