Do Something Different for Date Night

For some dates, the classic dinner and a movie just won’t do. When you want to make an impression, create a memory and really make yourself stand out to a romantic partner, do something different for date night. There’s no way to guarantee that they’ll fall for you, but you can certainly make sure they’re going to remember you.

Rock Climbing

Get physical together with a little rock climbing. The shared exertion and experience will help you two form a bond, and you can enjoy an element of friendly competition. Indoor rock climbing is generally easy to find. If you don’t have any dedicated rock climbing attractions in your area, look for local gyms and community centers that have indoor climbing walls. This is a safe activity that’s exciting and challenging, gets your heart pumping, and is a fun date activity.

Make Pottery Or Paint Together

Ever since that famous scene from “Ghost,” pottery has been kind of sexy. Many cities and towns have places that host evening pottery classes. It’s also trendy to go to a painting class paired with wine, so you can ease those tensions while learning how to paint a masterpiece. Everything seems more romantic with wine.

Go To a Comedy Show

What’s happening at your local college? Look for upcoming college, community theater or even high school performances, and go see a comedy stage show that’s either going to be spectacularly horrible or surprisingly good. Either way, the two of you should have a lot to laugh about and a lot to talk about afterward. Extend the date by taking the conversation to a nearby bar or do some outdoor stargazing on a cozy walk.

Go On a Ghost Tour

Towns that have connection to history usually have companies providing ghost tours. Sometimes, you can only find them around October and Halloween, but many cities have year-round ghost tours that stop at historic buildings with interesting or frightening stories attached to them. The chances of seeing an actual ghost on one of these tours are pretty slim, to say the least, but there will be lots of opportunities for hand-holding and cuddling during those scary stories.

Have a Great Date Night

Do something different for date night, and create an evening the two of you won’t forget. Look in your local area to find other interesting activities to do together, and spend time trying new things to create truly special experiences.
