Halloween will be here before we know it, which has gotten us thinking about some of our favorite spooky TV shows. Check out the following series we recommend adding to your binge list this fall.
Supernatural
If you’re looking for a long-term series commitment, look no further: Supernatural spans a whopping 15 seasons. The show follows brothers Sam and Dean as they fight their way through a world filled with witches, vampires, demons, and countless other creepy characters. Watch now on Netflix.
The Haunting of Hill House
Based on the 1959 novel of the same name, The Haunting of Hill House is a one-season series that you’ll be glued to from the time it starts until the closing credits. The show oscillates between past and present and the impact a childhood home has on both. It’s a fast binge, but you may find it hard to sleep at night! Watch now on Netflix.
Cursed Films
If you like documentaries, this six-episode Shudder original is probably more your speed. Cursed Films revisits some of the scariest films of all time and the alleged curses that plagued them. With discussions regarding The Exorcist, The Omen, and Poltergeist, this lineup will have every horror fanatic at the edge of their seats. Watch now on Shudder.
Grimm
This show digs into the world of fairy tales – but it is nothing like the Disney counterparts we’re familiar with. Grimm is part crime scene drama, part adventure, and all entertainment. It’s perfect if you enjoy some horror, but nothing too overwhelming. Watch now on Amazon Prime.
Eli Roth’s History of Horror
In this documentary series, horror filmmaker Eli Roth discusses the most bone-chilling horror films of all time with some of the most iconic individuals in the industry (think: Stephen King, Rob Zombie, and Jordan Peele). Watch now on Shudder.

Lore is based on some of the most chilling folklore of the past, drawn directly from the podcast of the same name hosted by Aaron Mahnke. There are two seasons, each approached very differently. Season 1 includes Mahnke’s voiceover with unsettling reenactments, while season 2 simply delves into the lore in true TV format. Watch now on Amazon Prime.
