Old Fashioned Apple Crisp

Ingredients:
- 6 Golden Delicious apples, peeled and chopped
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 1¾ tsp ground cinnamon, divided
- 1½ tsp lemon juice
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- ¾ cup old-fashioned oats
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cold, unsalted butter, diced into small cubes
- Pinch of kosher salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Spray an 8-by-8-inch baking dish and set it aside.
- In a mixing bowl, add chopped apples, granulated sugar, ¾ tsp cinnamon, and lemon juice. Stir to combine, then transfer to baking dish.
- In another mixing bowl, combine “topping” ingredients: brown sugar, oats, flour, 1 tsp cinnamon, salt, and butter. Use a fork to cut the butter into the mixture.
- Spread the “topping” over the apples in the baking dish and pat until the top is even.
- Bake 40-50 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
Apple Coffee Cake

Ingredients:
For the Cake:
- ¼ cup butter, softened
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup vanilla yogurt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 cups Granny Smith apples, diced
For the Topping:
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease an 8-by-8-inch baking dish and dust the bottom and sides with flour.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat ¼ cup of softened butter and ¾ cup of brown sugar mixture on medium speed with an electric mixer. Continue for 5 minutes or until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Beat egg into the mixture, followed by the sour cream, vanilla yogurt, and vanilla extract. Continue until well combined.
- Sift 1 cup flour, ¾ tsp cinnamon, baking soda, and salt in another mixing bowl. Gradually take the dry mixture and add it to the butter mixture. Gently combine. Mix the apples in and pour the batter into baking dish.
- For the topping, mix brown sugar, flour, butter, and cinnamon with a fork until they turn into a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle evenly over the batter.
- Bake 35-40 minutes. Check by inserting a toothpick into the cake. Once it comes out clean, the cake is ready to eat.
Apple Cider Donut Holes

Ingredients:
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ⅔ cup brown sugar
- ⅔ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup applesauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ tsp ground star anise
- ⅓ cup apple cider
- 1 cup shredded apples
For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating:
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup cinnamon sugar
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375° F. Spray mini muffin tins with non-stick baking spray.
- Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add sour cream, applesauce, and vanilla and beat until smooth.
- In a separate mixing bowl, stir together salt, baking powder, baking soda, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and star anise. Gradually add the dry ingredients and the apple cider to the butter mixture.
- Stir in the shredded apples gently.
- Spoon the batter into the mini muffin cavities, but be sure not to fill them more than halfway. The donut holes will rise.
- Bake for 9-10 minutes and allow to cool.
- Roll each donut hole in butter and then in cinnamon sugar mixture. Let set. Store in a sealed container.
Apple Crisp Pizza

- Dough for single-crust pie
- ⅔ cup sugar
- 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 4 medium baking apples, peeled and cut into small slices
For the Topping:
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- ⅓ cup rolled oats
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup butter, softened
- ½ cup caramel ice cream or caramel apple dip topping
- Vanilla ice cream (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll it until it fits a 12-inch pizza pan.
- In a bowl, combine sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Add apples and toss.
- Arrange apples in a circular pattern to completely cover crust.
- Combine first five topping ingredients and sprinkle over apples.
- Bake 35-40 minutes. Remove it from the oven and immediately drizzle caramel topping. Serve warm.
Apple Pie Cookies

Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Granny Smith apples, finely chopped
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- Juice of ½ lemon
- All-purpose flour, for surface
- 2 refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 cup caramel, warmed
- Egg wash
- 2 Tbsp cinnamon sugar, for sprinkling
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Make apple pie filling. In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter. Add apples and cook until they begin to soften. Add sugars, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and stir. Cook a few minutes more, then add cornstarch and lemon juice. Remove from the heat and let cool.
- Roll out refrigerated pie crusts on a floured surface and slice one of them into strips about 4 inches long and ½-inch thick.
- Take the second pie crust and use a 3-inch cookie cutter to cut out circles. Place the circles on the baking sheet.
- Spoon a small amount of caramel into the center of each circle and top with apple pie mixture. Place the strips in opposite directions over the mixture to give it that “apple pie” look.
- Use the cookie cutter to even out every cookie and seal the crusts together.
- Brush cookies with egg wash and sprinkle cinnamon sugar to taste.
- Bake 28-30 minutes or until golden brown.
