We love a good skincare line as much as the next person, and when we find new products with potential, we cannot help but share! If you’ve been keeping up with the beauty world, you might have heard that e.l.f. recently released a bunch of new skincare products that are gaining a lot of social media attention. They focus on hydration and nourishment, which we’re all about. But before you fill your cart with one of everything, let’s break down which products are worth the buy!
Holy Hydration! Face Cream with SPF 30 ($13, shop here)
Though released in the latter half of 2022, we must give hype where hype is due. This face cream is super-nourishing but doesn’t sit heavy on the skin, so it’s perfect for daytime use. Fittingly, this cream also has SPF 30 to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. It also has hyaluronic acid to boost hydration retention and peptides to keep your skin healthy. It’s a luxe formula, so it’s a total steal for under $20.
Blemish Breakthrough Acne Clarifying Cleanser ($9, shop here)
Those with oily skin may need a cleanser with a little more oomph in its “acne-fighting” properties. That’s where this face wash comes in. It has active ingredients like salicylic acid, niacinamide, and zinc to keep pesky spots from rearing their heads. Due to its exfoliative properties, this formula shouldn’t be used more than three times a week.
Holy Hydration! Triple Bounce Serum ($12, shop here)
The Holy Hydration! line is a success all the way through, but this serum is one of the more notable releases. Lightweight and fresh, this formula boasts a 1.7% hyaluronic acid concentration to keep skin plump, backed by other nourishing properties like squalane, vitamin B5, and niacinamide. It’s recommended for all skin types and is the perfect way to keep your moisture barrier intact to let your skin glow.
Suntouchable! Whoa Glow SPF 30 ($14, shop here)
This product is a dupe for uber-viral Supergoop! sunscreens. It’s affordable, effective, and gives the skin that radiant glow. It has a bit of a peachy-pink shimmer, so it’s best for cooler skin tones. However, if you’re wearing it underneath foundation or concealer, it’s unlikely the undertone will show through.
Exfoliator Cleansing Pad ($5, shop here)
As for tools, you really can’t go wrong with this silicone cleansing pad! We love this exfoliator for nights when you’re washing off a full face of makeup. It’ll work with the lather of your cleanser to remove any leftover product from your pores. Though it’s tough on dirt and cosmetics, it’s gentle on the skin – a total holy grail product in our book!
