Girlcore fashion is here, and it is unapologetically feminine. It’s time to reclaim lace, the color pink, skirts, frills, and lots of bows. Because, contrary to popular belief, you can wear a pink frilly dress and bows in your hair and still be a boss.

By now, we’re familiar with the fact that all fashion trends everything comes back around. This summer, we’re throwin’ it back to the drama of the 1980s. Think: cowboy boots, lots of leather punk accessories, shiny draped disco tops, high-waisted denim, and a whole lot of patterns being worn at once.

Dare we say, this may be paying homage to a resurgence of Y2K low-rise everything.
