Billie Eilish has become a sensation in the last few years and has put out some incredible tracks. She is an 18-year-old artist and songwriter and has accomplished a lot for her age. Billie and her brother Finneas, worked on the album together including producing it in the bedroom of their family home. The fantastic craftsmanship and genuinely new and fresh sound on the pop scene skyrocketed Billie to the top of the world charts. If some of you still aren’t impressed, recently, she won four Grammys surrounding the album.
Billie took home four prizes: Best New Artist, Record of The Year, Song of The Year, and The Album of The Year. She accepted the awards with her brother Finneas, and highlighted how grateful she is but stating that there are artists who deserve it more. We don’t agree with that statement. She totally deserves the awards!
Billie Eilish became the second person and the first woman to win all the top Grammy categories in one night and made history since Christopher Cross accomplished this in 1981.
Billie’s brother Finneas also won producer of the year for working with Billie on the album When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? This award show truly highlighted their talent and proved that everything is possible if you are ready to commit to it. Finneas said he is the most creative where he feels comfortable, which is why he prefers working in his bedroom. It is beautiful what the two of them together could create without the big studios or fancy equipment.
When Billie Eilish won the Album of the Year award, she was in disbelief and said that she believes her fellow nominee Ariana Grande deserved the prize more.
Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas truly made history with this album and deserved all the praise and awards they got. They brought out a new approach to pop music and used the music to express themselves and to talk about climate change, depression, and suicidal thoughts. We can’t wait to see what the future brings for them and to hear more amazing tracks they produce. It is likely they will continue to change the game and write history together.
