Fashion is one of our favorite things to discuss, critique, and make our own. It’s no wonder we always look forward to the next fashion week to learn about upcoming trends. Last fall, we got insights into what high fashion forecasts for Spring/Summer 2024. Here are some of our favorites!
Elevated Business Casual

Business casual always finds its way into every fashion season, but for Spring/Summer 2024, we saw shorter hems and Bermuda-length bottoms with designers such as Loewe, Louis Vuitton, and Dries Van Noten. Pairing a blazer and dress top with a short hem is a simple yet stylish way to combine two looks and change up any wardrobe.

Chic and Comfortable Knitwear
In the last few years, knitwear has returned to the runway. For Spring/Summer 2024, we will see bold, chunky, fitted, loose, and well-suited knitwear for every body type, as seen during the Loewe, Bottega Veneta, and Sacai runway shows.
Slashes and Holes

Slashes and holes on dresses, tops, or bottoms give a “come-undone” look, which has been popularized by Gen Z. But this style doesn’t have to be strictly casual, as seen on pieces during the Spring/Summer 2024 runway shows by Atlein, Del Core, Yohji Yamamoto, and Courrèges. Embrace the versatility of slashes and holes in clothing by experimenting with different textures, patterns, and silhouettes.
Sculptural Fashion in Motion

For Spring/Summer 204, sculptural clothing came alive on the runway, as seen on looks during the Issey Miyaki, The Row, Puppets and Puppets, and JW Anderson shows. These garments scream dimensionality and creativity.
Elongated Silhouettes

Just because the waistline is set at a certain height on our bodies doesn’t mean we need to only wear fashion pieces that land there. This spring, designers will continue to play with elongated silhouettes with high-waisted pants or drop waist pieces that elongate the torso. These two very different yet similar looks were seen on the runways of Louis Vuitton, Hyke, Viviano, and Bobkova.
