The days are getting a little longer, the temperatures are mostly above freezing, and we’re a pedicure away from busting out sandals with every outfit. There is something so exciting about transitioning a wardrobe to spring and summer. Here are our top six sandals we think you should go ahead and snag these joyous seasons.
Vivian Sandal in Black Multi, $23.99 (shop here)
These sandals can do no wrong. They offer comfortable support with the ankle strap, a little cushion for your heel, and the tortoiseshell print will compliment any outfit. We love to see these with cropped black pants, a solid black tee, and some vintage sunnies – an outfit perfect for any setting.
If you’re going for a more casual look, pair these with an oversized maxi dress and, if you love the layered look, throw on a destructed denim jacket.
Quilted Mules in Black, $42 (shop here)
We aren’t sure what it is about these particular shoes, but we are getting MAJOR Fran Drescher vibes with these baddies. These shoes add texture to any outfit, but we especially love them with a white oxford tucked into a pair of light-wash jeans or with any simple button-down mini dress. We also respect this heel; it’s sexy but still walkable.
Slide Sandal in Leather, $59.50 (shop here)
You can never go wrong with a classic slide in your favorite neutral. The best part about these sandals? You never have to ask yourself what to wear with them because they go with everything. Overalls? Check. Linen pants and a button-down? Check. Destructed denim and a striped t-shirt? Check.
Kyoto Birkenstock, $140 (shop here)
The traditional Birks will never go out of style, but if you’re looking for something a little more unique, try the Kyoto suede leather Birko-Flor. Like every pair of Birks, once you achieve that lived-in feel, you’ll never want to take these off, but they’ve got a bit more attitude with that camo strap.
We love seeing this sandal paired with a simple black crop top and destructed denim, an oversized tee french-tucked into a pair of shorts, or a simple t-shirt dress. There are a million ways to style these shoes – you simply can’t go wrong.
Platform Mule, $59 (shop here)
We’re sure you’ve seen the meme that states if you wore these in the ’90s, you need a night serum now. First of all, everyone can benefit from a nightly skincare routine and, secondly, these shoes are back in style. Who’s laughing now?!
These platforms bring the drama to any outfit. We love to see this with a black skirt and a slightly slouchy striped button-down or paired with some raw-hemmed denim and a simple tee.
Woven Platforms, $48 (shop here)
We saw the flatform (aka platform) start to make an appearance last summer. If you partook in this sandal trend last year, you know how comfy they are. We are so excited to see these everywhere, and we love this particular style from Free People. You can’t go wrong with a woven flatform, and we’re here for it.
