Upcoming Shows Worth Keeping an Eye Out For

It’s likely you’ve already worked your way through most of the shows currently available on the various streaming services and cable channels. But good news: A new wave of shows is just starting to roll out. These are the ones that you don’t want to miss.

Loki – Disney+

If you’re a fan of the Marvel Universe, you’ve likely seen all of the films and shows, which means you’re experiencing a content lull. Lucky for you, Loki drops on Disney+ June 9 and will air every Wednesday for six weeks. And for those fanatics who want longer content, Loki episodes are slated to be between 40 and 50 minutes. Since we don’t do spoilers, we won’t say much – just that this is an anti-hero show Marvel fans are going to love.

Panic – Amazon Prime (Watch Here)

If you’re a fan of suspense, action, and a little crime to go with your drama, look no further! This new show, whose 10-episode first season was released on Amazon Prime on May 28, is based on Lauren Oliver’s 2014 novel of the same name.

Panic has already demonstrated it’s not for the faint of heart. The show centers around high school seniors as they compete to better their lives. The competition becomes increasingly dangerous, and the risks are very real.

Kevin Can F**k Himself – AMC

Schitt’s Creek fans know that Annie Murphy is a national treasure that is to be protected at all costs, which is why the premise of this new AMC show is that much more enticing (and alarming).

Kevin Can F**K Himself is one part satirical commentary on the world of sitcoms, one part feminist awakening. The show centers around Murphy’s character, a stereotypical sitcom wife, as she finally wakes up and recognizes the injustices she’s endured throughout her life. We know what we’ll be watching come June 13!

Monsters at Work – Disney+

For those that want a little animated innocence in their TV lineup, Disney+ has exactly what you need: a Monsters, Inc. / Monsters University spin-off! Regardless of your age, this is definitely one that’s worthy of your excitement!

At this point, we don’t know too much, just that Billy Crystal and John Goodman will be reprising their roles, but the story centers around a new character, Tylor Tuskmon, as he works toward his dream of working on the Laugh Floor at Monsters, Inc. The show is expected to hit Disney+ on July 2nd.

Girls5eva – Peacock (Watch Here)

Launched on Peacock on May 6, Girls5eva is basically a perfect cast balancing unfair levels of musical talent and even more unfair levels of comedic genius.

You’ve likely already heard that Tina Fey had a hand in the show, but the cast itself includes Busy Philipps, Paula Pell, Sara Bareilles, and Renée Elise Goldsberry. The story follows a one-hit-wonder girl group from the ’90s that gets a new opportunity to achieve its members’ pop-star dreams.

The cure for your boredom has finally arrived! So don’t worry about catching up on the latest episodes of your favorite shows or those long-awaited new seasons of old faves. Instead, just get ready to take on something new, and binge it as quickly as possible!
