In Season 4, Nancy continues her endeavors as the editor of the Hawkins High newspaper. Hoping to be taken seriously as a journalist, she finds solace in the era’s preppy and polished style. Here’s what we would find in Nancy’s closet:

  • Patterned and pastel blouses with shoulder pads
  • Sweater vests and cowl-neck sweaters
  • High-waisted jeans
  • Matching blazer and skirt sets
  • Mid-calf boots

Robin gets the ultimate upgrade this season: We finally get a peek at her wardrobe outside her Scoops Ahoy uniform. In speaking with PopSugar, Parris explains that Diane Keaton’s 1977 Annie Hall character inspired Robin’s daily attire. We see a mix of masculine pieces, muted colors, and personalized pins and buttons fixed onto Robin’s outwear. Her casual, alternative style is all about:

  • Denim, bomber, and utility jackets
  • Black Converse
  • Men’s button-downs in a variety of subtle patterns
  • Ties
  • Cuffed, straight-leg pants

Maxine Mayfield

This season, Max continues to struggle after losing her brother. Her clothes are effortless, radiating a casual tomboy energy. Her most interesting accessory is the headphones and Walkman adorned to her waist, which acts as a distraction and a secret weapon from the encroaching Vecna. On most days, Max is wearing:

  • Basic tees
  • Baggy jeans in a light wash
  • Hoodies and zip-ups
  • Scrunchies
  • Sk8-Hi Vans

Eleven

Eleven is finding her way in the fashion world this season. Between losing her powers and hard times at school, she can only sort through Joyce’s hand-me-downs to conjure up a look of her own. Parris was candid with Netflix, stating, “[Eleven] bought stuff with Max [in Season 3], but Max isn’t there with her [in Season 4] to help her accessorize and guide her in how she might want to dress, so she’s uneasy.” This season, you’ll see Eleven in:

  • Plaid shirts
  • Graphic and ringer tees (purchase her “Strawberry Festival” tee from Episode 1 here!)
  • Sweatpants
  • Oversized rugby shirts
  • ’80s print dresses
